Sleep better tonight!

If you’re like most Americans, you’re not getting enough sleep.  This can affect your health and in a variety of ways.

Sleep is so important and you will want to aim for seven to eight hours each night.  When you combine an adequate amount of sleep along with a healthy eating plan and exercise, it will help combat stress weight gain.

So you might be thinking that you can’t get more sleep.  But, I’m telling you that it is possible.  When you create a regular sleep pattern, your body will adjust to what it considers a consistent routine.  Take the next week and try it.  YOUR body will thank you!

I am working on 8. RIght now, I at least get to bed before 11 and I’m up with the alarm at 6:30. My goal is 10 to 6 🙂

  2. I usually get 7 hours and I’m trying to work on 8.

I’ve also noticed that if I eat earlier, I seem to sleep better.

    Thank you Hope – T 🙂

Great notice, T! I will need to pay attention to that. We use to eat earlier and its been creeping later and later. Hmmm

Funny.. it’s 4:34am where I am and I’m reading this. I can’t get comfortable in my bed and for the past few nights have been up around 3:40-4:00ish and can’t sleep. We have a pretty good routine but I just can’t sleep.

I’m sorry Brianna! Thats so hard. I hope you are able to get back to your normal schedule soon. I HATE it when I am having trouble sleeping

  4. 8 hours a night for this girl! I hear people talking about work, work, work, work I’ll sleep when I’m dead and I always think “That’s gunna’ be sooner than you think if you don’t get some rest!” 😉

  5. I finally have this under control! I get 8 hours of sleep a night and have pretty consistently for the past 6-8 months.
